Pre-Audit
No Surprises. No NCRs.

NavPoint conducts an internal audit of your ISM, ISPS and MLC 2006 systems before the official flag state or class surveyor arrives — identifying every non-conformity and gap before it becomes a finding.

Scope of Work

What the Pre-Audit Covers

01

Internal Audit (ISM 3.1)

Full ISM internal audit per SMS requirements. NavPoint auditors verify compliance at company and vessel level across all SMS elements.

02

Document Review

Systematic review of all SMS manuals, ship-specific procedures, drill records, maintenance logs and statutory certificates for currency and completeness.

03

Gap Analysis

Structured comparison of current SMS against the applicable Code requirements — identifying every gap before the official auditor finds it.

04

Audit Simulation

NavPoint simulates the official audit — interviewing officers and crew, testing emergency responses and challenging documentation — so the team knows what to expect.

05

CAR Preparation

Corrective Action Reports drafted for identified non-conformities, with root cause analysis, immediate corrective actions and preventive measures ready for submission.

06

MLC 2006 Check

MLC Title 1–5 review covering SEA contracts, rest hours records, crew accommodation, food quality, medical equipment and complaints handling procedure.
